Mara is located downtown Charles City, Iowa, near Central Park. Our picturesque historic home is the perfect setting for you and your friends and family to enjoy a blissful day of shopping and relaxing. Provided our space is located in a 19th century farmhouse, we have made many adjustments to accommodate all of today's customers. However, some hallways are narrow, and there are some minor steps to access certain areas of the property. If you have any concerns about accessibility, please call our boutique at 641-228-3301, and we gladly address them prior to your visit.
The Studio - The Studio was built on site, just behind the main boutique. Please use the front entry through the house and we will show you the way. You'll find this space morphs every few months. It's always changing and always full of fun new things!
Parking & Entry - The Mara Property is located on Kelly Street and North Johnson, a double corner lot, downtown Charles City. There are two public parking lots adjacent to Mara. One on the southeast side of the house, and one on the southwest. We also offer street parking on both Kelly Street and North Johnson Street. You will enter Mara from the Kelly Street Entrance, through double black doors.
